It is for the information of all concerned that the Final seminars and Viva Voce Examination of following ME students of IICT have been scheduled on September 04, 2023 at 10.00 am in the Video Conferencing Hall of IT building; as per requirement of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. All students are required to bring 08 hard copies of the presentation. Candidates are suggested don’t print Bismillah بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ on Hard copies. Maximum Duration of an Initial Seminar will be 10 minutes and that of a final seminar will be 15 minutes. During the presentation, at least one supervisor/co-supervisor must be present. Students must clear their dues up to 3rd semester, at least one day before their scheduled date of seminar Candidates are suggested to write literature review in tabular form along with one slide of “literature review summary”. Candidates appearing for Final seminar or repeat Initial seminars are requested to bring 8 copies of ASRB letter (approved or unsatisfactory) along with them on the day of their seminar. All faculty members of IICT are invited to attend.  

It is for the information of all concerned that the PhD Open Defense to be delivered by following PhD students of IICT as per requirement of Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) has been scheduled on August 22, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Video Conferencing Hall of IICT building, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

On August 01, 2023, an interactive session with the PhD students of the recent batch (23 Batch) was successfully conducted by the Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro. The session aimed to provide comprehensive guidelines on the entire procedure of pursuing a PhD degree, from the admission process to degree completion. The session was held in the Video Conference Hall located in the IIT Building, ensuring seamless communication and engagement with the participating students. The event commenced at 12:00 noon, and the PhD students of the 23 Batch from various programs of IICT actively attended the session. During the interactive session, the Director elaborated on the step-by-step process of the PhD journey, providing clear guidance on various aspects. The session concluded with an open Q&A session, allowing the students to seek clarifications on various aspects of the PhD journey. The students actively participated and raised relevant questions, demonstrating their enthusiasm and interest in the academic pursuit. Overall, the interactive session proved to be a highly informative and beneficial event for the PhD students of the 23 Batch. The comprehensive guidelines provided by the Director will undoubtedly serve as a valuable resource for the students as they progress in their research and academic endeavors. Attention Masters Degree Students of IICT, MUET, Jamshoro   Applications are Invited for Initial Seminars, Final Seminars and Viva Voce Examination of Master's Degree Programs at IICT, MUET, Jamshoro All eligible students are informed that they can submit applications for conduct of Initial Seminars, Final Seminars or Viva Voce Examination to the Admin office of IICT in IIT Building, MUET, Jamshoro. The students who are eligible for final seminars must incorporate the recommendations they received during initial seminar and they need to add this to their final presentation as well. The students who are applying for Viva voce examination must incorporate recommendations received by them during initial seminar and final seminar and it is mandatory to show the compliance of recommendations during the viva.
