It is circulated for the general information of all concerned that after viva exam, students are advised to set their thesis (soft copy) in proper format before submitting for scanning at IICT admin office. The tables and textual figures should be editable and as per requirements of the scanning.

On October 12, 2023, an interactive session with the PhD students of the batch (22 Batch) was successfully conducted by the Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro. The session aimed to provide comprehensive guidelines on the entire procedure of pursuing a PhD degree, from the admission process to degree completion. The session was held in the Video Conference Hall located in the IIT Building, ensuring seamless communication and engagement with the participating students. The event commenced at 12:00 noon, and the PhD students of the 22 Batch from various programs of IICT actively attended the session. During the interactive session, the Director elaborated on the step-by-step process of the PhD journey, providing clear guidance on various aspects. The session concluded with an open Q&A session, allowing the students to seek clarifications on various aspects of the PhD journey. The students actively participated and raised relevant questions, demonstrating their enthusiasm and interest in the academic pursuit. Overall, the interactive session proved to be a highly informative and beneficial event for the PhD students of the 22 Batch. The comprehensive guidelines provided by the Director will undoubtedly serve as a valuable resource for the students as they progress in their research and academic endeavors. The Schedule of 2nd Semester Mid Semester Examination of 23-Batch Master of Engineering (Full Time Evening) in various disciplines of Institute of Information & Communication Technologies (IICT) to be held from Monday 23th October, 2023 respectively in I.T. Building at MUET, Jamshoro.

It is for the information of all concerned that the final seminar to be delivered by following PhD students of IICT as per requirement of Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) has been scheduled on October 17, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in the Video Conferencing Hall of IICT building, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

It is for the information of all concerned that the first and second progressive seminar to be delivered by following PhD students of IICT as per requirement of Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) has been scheduled on October 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Video Conferencing Hall of IICT building, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

It is for the information of all concerned that the Initial/ Final seminars of following ME students of IICT have been scheduled on October 11, 2023 at 11.00 am in the Video Conferencing Hall of IT building; as per requirement of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. All students are required to bring 06 hard copies of the presentation. Candidates are suggested don’t print Bismillah بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ on Hard copies. Maximum Duration of an Initial Seminar will be 20 minutes and that of a final seminar will be 30 minutes. During the presentation, at least one supervisor/co-supervisor must be present. Students must clear their dues up to 3rd semester, at least one day before their scheduled date of seminar Candidates are suggested to write literature review in tabular form along with one slide of “literature review summary”. Candidates appearing for Final seminar or repeat Initial seminars are requested to bring 6 copies of ASRB letter (approved or unsatisfactory) along with them on the day of their seminar. All faculty members of IICT are invited to attend.  

It is for the information of all concerned that the PhD Open Defense to be delivered by following PhD student of IICT as per requirement of Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) has been scheduled on October 10, 2023 at 01:00 pm in the Video Conferencing Hall of IICT building, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

It is for the information of all concerned that the Viva-Voce Examination of the following ME students of IICT has been scheduled on 12-10-2023 in Office of Director IICT, IIT building, MUET Jamshoro. THURSDAY 12-10-2023 at 11:00 am 1. Mr. Amir Akhtar (19 ME ESE 13) 2. Mr. Mukesh (19 ME ESE 07) 3. Mr. Akash (19 ME ESE 14) * Candidates appearing for Viva voce examination are requested to bring copy of approval letter ASRB and comments along with them on the day of their viva voce examination.

All students are required to bring 08 hard copies of the presentation. Candidates are suggested don’t print Bismillah بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ on Hard copies. Maximum Duration of an Initial Seminar will be 10 minutes and that of a final seminar will be 15 minutes. During the presentation, at least one supervisor/co-supervisor must be present. Students must clear their dues up to 3rd semester, at least one day before their scheduled date of seminar Candidates are suggested to write literature review in tabular form along with one slide of “literature review summary”. Candidates appearing for Final seminar or repeat Initial seminars are requested to bring 8 copies of ASRB letter (approved or unsatisfactory) along with them on the day of their seminar. All faculty members of IICT are invited to attend.
